SummaryEdit

Freezing First Chronicles begins with an introduction to Nova.

It then jumps to a Winter Carnival underway for Chiffon Fairchild's first year.

Arnett McMillan (#4), Attia Simmons (#5) and Marine Maxwell (#7) are facing off against Ticy Phenyl (#3). Arnett does this to distract Ticy while Elizabeth Mably (#2) goes after Chiffon.

The story then jumps again, to the point when Chiffon first enters West Genetics as a freshman.

Ticy has zero points after the first Carnival, where even materializing your Volt Weapon results in 5 points. Due to the hierarchical structure based on ranking, Ticy is dead last, and pushed into being the servant of Class C, the lowest third of Pandoras of their year. Class A thinks Class C are petty with their emphasis on points. Class C thinks Class A as snooty. Chiffon, late entering Genetics, misses the first Carnival, and has zero points, becoming roomies and friends with Ticy.

It is revealed that Chiffon likes chiffon cake, and comes from a middle class family, unlike some of the higher pointing Class C'ers, who are used to having servants and not doing chores. Those C'ers wish to break the friendship between Chiffon, the student with excellent French, and zero Ticy.
